Quiet women intimidating
For several years Eau de Soir was countess' personal perfume and it was no sooner than 1999, after her friend persuaded her, that it was released for public.
Eau du Soir was created by Jeannine Mongin, Hubert d'Ornano and Isabelle d'Ornano.it's great but idk how to describe this one it shares the same DNA with Picaso, Passion (from ET) and so many other vintage fragrances if you carefully sniff it you'll see the differences this one is dryer and more woody, and very rich but actually even though this is good i don't think it's worthy to spend so much money on this one This is a surprisingly wearable oakmoss.
10/10 I was very lucky to stumble upon a vintage bottle of this juice (black bottle). Patchouli, Iris and a small hint of rose is present in the first six hours. The lid looks nice in the photo but reality is much worse. So I would buy it just for a reasonable price in sales.
The smell reminds me of water, or as some would say an Ocean Candle or room spray. This would be best worn in mid summer during the day. I remember walking through David Jones in Sydney around 10 years ago, and having the Sisley consultant wave me down to try this fragrance.

Eau du Soir is the second perfume by the house of Sisley and it is feminine, elegant and eternal.
I am a male who has been hijacked by this female beauty of a scent and since Karma is sweet here, I have planned to surrender and stay a prisoner and never let go of her, in return to be filled with her charm, wisdom and everlasting beauty she throws back!
She is a drug, very addictive, and once tried, you will never want to be without her, once your bottle has dried to it's last drop you will walk past your favorite fragrance shop and she will call you, might even tempt you just like Eve did to Adam. Count Hubert d'Ornano knew exactly what he was creating to satisfy his Countess Isabelle d’Ornano when he gave her Eau Du Soir as a gift, a little bird told me that Count Hubert d'Oranano himself used this scent as much as his Countess did! I can imagine wearing it because it is fresh and feminine.
It does smell like my vintage Scherrer after several hours of wearing it, but the Soir edt has greater potency than my Scherrer. It reminds me of an elegant, head-strong woman who is very sure of herself. Where AE screeches with its greenness, Ed S actually IS a subtle and dynamic elixir. It was difficult in the beginning as I can find many oakmossy frags to be although oakmiss is a basenote.
Without being knowledgeable in fragrances or a collectionner - I am just a plain user - I must have bought more than 30 different perfumes and tried a couple of hundreds. EAU DU SOIR It lasts an eternity, passes its scent to the clothes, to the wardrobe and I estimate a sillage at its peak of more than 12 feet. What I think happened is that they toned down oakmoss and amped up patchouli..... it says "i am a strong womand and you better not mess with me" - it is a mature, powerful affair.
